As opposed to the short poems, which I published mostly on Instagram, I originally published the bulk of these longer poems on Facebook between 2010-2015. I have no particular preference over longer poems vs. short poems; it’s really just a matter of what arises, what stage of life I’m in. I have definitely noticed over the course of my lifetime that the poetic muse arises seasonally, with a sudden prolific outpouring of poesy, followed by a dormant period that can last a couple years. I never try to force it. All poetry arises from the heart. When the prolific season comes and poems arise, I become their slave and write unceasingly with obsession. When there is no muse to be found, I simply live my life and focus on other modes of creativity until she returns. I will continually update this page with fresh poems as they arise and my journey continues. I encourage sharing of all my content.
